Yolo County Children's Alliance is collecting coats:

As part of their annual Community Giveaway Day, the Yolo County Children's Alliance is collecting NEW and UNUSED coats to keep our community's children warm during these winter months.

You can drop off your coats at the Woodland Chamber office (400 Court Street) by November 14^th! Can't make it to the Chamber office? No problem! Click here for a list of drop-off locations where you can turn in your coats.

Donate toys to Toys for Tots!

Marine Toys for Tots is once again collecting NEW and UNUSED toys for the holiday season!

The Chamber office (400 Court Street) is a donation location and is currently accepting toys. The toy giveaway will be on Saturday, December 17^th at the Yolo County Fairgrounds in Woodland, donate your toys today!

Yolo Food Bank launches a new fundraising campaign to support vulnerable populations this holiday season:

The Yolo Food Bank has launched its annual Yolo Give & Gathers fundraising campaign to address food insecurity during the holiday season.

The Yolo Food Bank directly serves more than 12,500 households monthly and thousands more through its 64 nonprofit members. During a time of continued high inflation and economic uncertainty, the amount of people need food assistance has been on a steady increase since the beginning of the year. As a result, Yolo Food Bank has been having to make its food stretch farther, scaling back the amount of food per household in an effort to feed more people.

Registration for the 2022 Holiday Parade is open!

The Annual Holiday Parade is returning this year on December 10th! Registration is now open and available to the public on our website. We will be accepting registration applications until November 21^st, though a late fee will be applied to applications received after the 21^st and placement will not be guaranteed.

Shop Small Saturday is on November 26^th!

The Saturday after Thanksgiving is Shop Small Saturday! Support small businesses by visiting your local shops on Saturday, November 26^th and get a head start on your holiday shopping.

Travis Credit Union Presents College Financial Planning Workshops:

Travis Credit Union is excited to announce the start of their College Financial Planning Workshops on November 17^th. They will run until December 14^th, take advantage of this unique opportunity!

For each workshop a student registers and attends, they will have a chance to win a new Chromebook! The more workshops a student attends, the more opportunities they get to win!
