Congratulations to Bullseye Farms on being named the Chamber's 2024 Agribusiness of the Year!

[Woodland, CA] – The Woodland Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce Bullseye Farms as the recipient of the 2024 Agribusiness of the Year Award. This prestigious award recognizes an outstanding agricultural business that demonstrates excellence in leadership, innovation, and community involvement.

Bullseye Farms, owned by the Beeman family, is a true gem of Woodland’s agricultural community. With a deep-rooted history dating back to 1852, the Beemans have been an integral part of the fabric of Woodland since its early days as a pioneer settlement.

Bullseye Farms has established itself as an industry leader in regenerative agriculture and sustainable farming practices. Their commitment to environmental stewardship is evident in their regular collaborations with organizations such as the Yolo Land Trust, the Community Alliance for Family Farmers, the California Climate and Agricultural Network, the Center for Land-based Learning, and UC Davis.

Beyond their agricultural accomplishments, Bullseye Farms is deeply committed to giving back to the Woodland community. They are a regular supporter of the Yolo Food Bank, ensuring that those in need have access to nutritious food. Additionally, their active participation in local events such as Woodland’s Holiday Parade and the Winters Tractor Parade, as well as their sponsorship of the Junior Yellowjackets Youth Football program, highlight their commitment to fostering a strong sense of community. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Bullseye Farms also played a crucial role in supporting public health by opening their facilities for vaccination drives for local farmworkers, ensuring widespread access to life-saving vaccines.

“We are thrilled to recognize Bullseye Farms as our 2024 Agribusiness of the Year,” said Cynthia Evans, Executive Director of the Woodland Chamber of Commerce. “Their dedication to excellence in agriculture, their commitment to sustainable practices, and their unwavering support of our community make them an exemplary model for agribusinesses in Woodland.”

The Woodland Chamber of Commerce will honor Bullseye Farms at the 2024 Farm City Dinner on October 3rd at JDM Organic Farms. This annual event celebrates the vibrant agricultural community of Woodland and recognizes the outstanding contributions of local agribusinesses. With the City of Woodland’s Food Front partners, the Farm City Dinner will showcase the diverse and innovative practices of our local agribusinesses that have made Woodland a leader in the agricultural industry.
